It’s cool how time ticks by
leading to the inevitable time that you’ll die.
And as you look up at the sky,
you see the shape of a lie
in the stars,
reflective of all your scars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hopefully, one day we’ll have peace,
and then the need for war will cease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We might even find the key,
the scientific breakthrough that will let us be
everything that we could never see
supercallefragileisticly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As time goes on, we will advance.
Technology is like a trance,
a never-ending, pretty dance
that we can always enhance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And as we learn more,
we get closer to the door.
Advancement is what it’s for,
so once we step through it,
there’s no turning back.
It might be a tight fit,
but there’s not much it can lack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
