Ghost: The Innocent Sinner

When I destroyed his life,
burned down his home,
I did not know he would be condemned.
I am merely a soldier,
following orders from above.
But this time, they made a mistake,
they targeted a man of happy innocence,
and I followed through with the plan.
I did some research; he's committed no crime.
I have revived my rival, the savior.
He didn't deserve to die,
he was trying to save an innocent man.
But now... now there is this hurt person, in visceral form,
who has escaped the prison on the physical plane,
and is free to go where he wishes.
There is no doubt in mind that he is searching for vengeance.
It is a delicate feather that blows in the wind and may land atop the burning where it all began,
only to set afire on the pawn and the innocent.
I must set the direction.
My employers shall take the fall!
