Music came back into my life again,
Now I’ve got 4,500 songs to spin.
Some tracks hit hard and sound so bright,
Some are just decent for one quick night.
If a song feels weak, I’ll skip ahead;
If it’s really bad, it’s gone instead.
I open GoneMAD Music Player and press play,
Then shuffle takes over for the rest of the day!
With thousands of songs all waiting in line,
Random mode somehow works perfectly fine.
One song fades out, another comes through,
Always surprising me with something new.
I always remove songs after they’re played;
That way the playlist slowly fades.
As soon as it’s empty, I shuffle once more,
Then build a new playlist like never before.
Every album gets one fair shot;
Some stay forever, some simply do not.
Sometimes we drive with the music loud,
Though Mom will sometimes turn it down.
I even got Spotify free for three whole months,
A nice little bonus without paying once.
I hope it renews and gives three months more;
That really would be a dream, for sure!
But it doesn’t matter—the trial will soon end,
So GoneMAD Music Player will stay my best friend.
I still have my music and all of my tracks;
With shuffle and playlists, there’s nothing it lacks.
This is the best, at least to me,
And music will always be my company.
I’ll keep it with me forevermore,
Always finding songs to explore.
There are a few artists that I really like,
And one stands out whenever I grab the mic.
Tom MacDonald has reached my number-one spot,
And lately, I’ve been listening to him a lot!
It’s the first time he’s finished in first place,
And his music has earned a special place.
One hundred eleven songs,
Six hours and forty-seven minutes long.
His music keeps me coming back for more,
And every listen leaves me wanting more.
He also plays instruments with great skill,
And writes his songs with passion and with will.
His talent shines through every song he makes,
And that’s one reason my interest never fades.
Fourteen albums, and he’s still writing more,
At least one every single year, for sure.
That’s far more than I ever thought;
Now I’ll share the albums I like a lot!
See You Tomorrow ranked bittersweet,
Still quite good, though not my top repeat.
Three songs I like; the rest, not so much,
Yet it’s still an album with a thoughtful touch.
Deathreats ranked lower than I guessed;
Five songs I like—they’re among the best.
Ghostories crept along with a quiet stride,
Three songs I enjoy and keep with pride.
Gravestones soared high like an eagle in flight,
With eleven songs that sound just right.
Every track is worth the hype;
An album I’ll replay day and night.
Flowers for the Dead ranked near the top,
Nine songs I love that never stop.
No Guts No Glory climbed even higher,
Ten songs I love that fuel the fire.
As Far as the Stars ranked where I thought,
Seven songs I like—they hit the spot.
Us Against the World stayed near the top,
Ten songs I treasure that never stop.
The Brave ranked higher than I expected,
Thirteen songs I love and never neglected.
Renegade had a few songs I’d delete,
Nine songs I enjoy with every repeat.
The Revolution ranked right where I thought,
Twelve songs I treasure and haven’t forgot.
I still enjoy it every time it plays,
With great vibes that brighten all my days!
Wild Ones ranked a little low overall,
Five songs I like, though it’s still good after all.
It may be short, but it still shines through,
With plenty of moments that feel fresh and new.
Truthurts ranked as my very last choice,
Two songs I like that truly found my voice.
The rest just didn’t click with me, it’s true,
But everyone hears music differently, too.
No Lies ranked much higher for me,
Nine songs I enjoy consistently.
It’s much better than the album before,
With songs that keep me coming back for more.
Now the next album will be coming soon;
We’ll have to wait and hope it’s here soon.
I can’t wait to hear what Tom has in store,
And I’m looking forward to hearing more!
Linkin Park lands at number two,
With powerful songs that still feel new!
Their music always sounds so strong;
I never get tired of singing along!
Mike Shinoda is the rapper; Chester was the voice.
Together they gave fans a timeless choice.
After Chester’s passing, things grew much more still,
But their legacy and impact never lost their thrill.
About seven years passed before a new album arrived,
Then the music returned and came back alive.
Now Emily Armstrong brings a brand-new voice,
Adding fresh energy—a wonderful choice.
And yes, some songs still hit loud and intense,
With screaming moments that make perfect sense.
I might skip a few when the screaming takes over;
It’s just not my style, so I move right over.
But I keep the songs that I enjoy the most;
Those are the ones I’ll treasure and proudly toast!
Eight albums now, and they’re still writing more,
Though I don’t know how long before the next is in store.
Maybe five years, or maybe not that long—
Only time will tell when they return with another song.
In the meantime, I wanted to show
All the albums released long ago.
Hybrid Theory ranks higher than them all,
Ten songs I truly love—I still recall.
Meteora climbs even higher than before,
Eleven songs I replay more and more!
Minutes to Midnight is average, but still good;
Only seven songs fit my mood.
The rest are slower, that is true,
But there’s still enough to see me through.
A Thousand Suns is average to me,
Seven songs I enjoy wholeheartedly.
They drift along with a peaceful sway,
And simply bliss me all the way.
The Hunting Party ranks the lowest on my list;
I listened through, but it wasn’t my pick.
Still, there are other albums I enjoy a lot,
So let’s move on and give them a shot.
Living Things ranks much higher for me,
Nine songs I love wholeheartedly.
They bring me back each time I play,
And keep me coming back every day.
One More Light ranks a little low;
Four songs I like still steal the show.
Some of the others aren’t for me;
But that’s just how my tastes can be.
From Zero also ranks on the lower side,
But better than the album before, in my eyes.
Five songs I really enjoy the most;
With nu metal, alternative metal, and rap rock that I love the most.
I like that it doesn’t rely on screams—
It fits my style and my music dreams!
Two artists are finished, and many more remain,
But I’ll stop right here before I continue again.
I’ll probably pick it back up another day,
When the next album comes my way.
