Just a moment, then up I rose,
Toward the upper-right path I chose.
Five Hollow Warriors stood up the hill,
And one Undead Soldier waited still.
Six enemies waited along the way,
Ready to fight me that very day.
The first came charging, blade held high,
Then jumped straight down as I stood nearby.
I raised my shield and blocked the blow,
But still lost a little health, though.
Then struck him twice and laid him low!
I hit him back with all my might,
And quickly won that simple fight.
Then another foe came rushing down,
Leaping fast from higher ground.
He moved behind me, lost his stride,
Then suddenly stumbled to the side!
He fell right down without much care,
And I kept moving onward there.
I moved ahead where a Hollow stood,
Shield held high, just as I should.
The Hollow struck, but I blocked the hit,
Though I lost a little health from it.
Then it nearly struck me twice once more,
But I stayed standing, ready for war!
But from above came fire instead,
An enemy hurled it toward my head.
My health was getting a little low,
As another fiery attack began to go.
The fire struck me from up high,
While the Hollow kept attacking nearby.
It swung two times but missed again,
While fire kept raining down just then.
Another flame came through the air,
But missed its mark and landed elsewhere.
I struck the Hollow with all my might,
And staggered it twice throughout the fight.
Then down it fell upon the ground,
Its Hollow cries no longer made a sound.
I picked up a Soul of a Lost Undead,
Then climbed the rocky cliff ahead.
But danger waited farther there,
With more enemies lurking everywhere.
One enemy hurled fire through the air,
While another charged without a care.
I brought the closer foe down first,
Before the flames could do their worst.
The other enemy still had fire,
And struck me again as the flames flew higher.
I lost a little health once more,
But kept on fighting like before.
With steady steps, I pressed ahead,
And soon another foe lay dead.
We’re almost done—but not just yet,
One final foe I hadn’t met.
My health was halfway gone by then,
But I was ready to fight again!
Up on the cliff, it stood its ground,
Then leaped with an axe and came crashing down!
I dodged the axe two times as it missed,
Then dropped down and struck with a twist.
But that wasn’t enough to end the fight,
So I prepared to strike with all my might!
I saw my opening and struck just right,
Two final blows to end the fight!
The battle ended, the fighting done—
No enemies remained, not a single one!
There was a cliff down below,
But whether I’d get back, I didn’t know.
So rather than risk going down that way,
I decided to save it for another day.
I stood on the cliff and looked below,
And spotted an item far down low.
I walked toward it, careful indeed,
And found some Souls that I badly need!
I turned around and found a tunnel there,
Then stepped inside with a little care.
One rat was waiting, very close,
And whether my fireball could reach, who knows?
My sword was acting strangely too,
Sometimes it wouldn’t do what I wanted it to do!
Still, I swung my sword two times,
And killed the rat without much fight.
There was another Soul for me,
But then a dead end was all I could see.
With nowhere else to travel through,
I turned around to find something new.
I drank my Flask and healed up right,
Getting myself prepared to fight.
I walked ahead, then turned to the left,
And climbed the stairs with energy left.
Up ahead, just a few steps away,
Two Hollow Warriors blocked my way.
I struck the first one twice with my axe,
And down he went after my attacks!
The second enemy almost struck me back,
But luckily, he missed his attack.
I struck him twice and brought him down,
Another Hollow dead on the ground.
But there were more—I wasn’t through!
Another Hollow appeared on the left side too.
The enemy struck, but I blocked the blow,
Though I lost a little health or so.
I struck him back two times again,
And that was enough to bring his end.
Up ahead, another waited down below,
And soon he came toward me, ready to go.
He was almost right in front of me,
But I struck him twice immediately.
Two more blows and down he fell,
Another enemy defeated as well!
The path was blocked, so I couldn’t go straight,
I had to find another way to navigate.
I went around and saw fog ahead,
A misty wall where danger spread.
But I’m going to stop right here today,
And save that fight for another day.
I’ll resume when I’m ready to fight once more,
And see what waits beyond that foggy door!
