So I tried Terraria for a while,
Exploring the world mile by mile.
The game keeps updating now and then,
With little new changes again and again.
But I had to start a brand-new land,
Building a fresh new world by hand.
A boss was waiting far below,
Where rivers of lava endlessly flow.
I made a doll and clicked it fast,
And suddenly, the boss appeared at last.
Run to the left or run to the right,
While lava turns every jump to a fight.
Jump and swing while trying to dodge,
But one small slip—there’s no safe lodge.
Again and again with only one hand,
It’s harder than most would understand.
So time went by, and I chose to restart,
Beginning again with a hopeful heart.
Now I explore both far and near,
While strange new enemies wander here.
I chopped down trees to gather more,
Preparing for what lay in store.
I built a pathway through the air,
With wooden platforms everywhere.
One wooden platform at a time,
Climbing higher, line by line.
The higher I climbed, the slower time seemed,
Just like the way I’d always dreamed.
Then it was time to stop climbing high,
And build across the open sky.
Left or right, it didn’t matter,
More wooden platforms formed the ladder.
But then another problem came my way,
The Harpies would not stay away.
Sometimes they’d hit me like a tank,
Knocking me right off my wooden plank.
Sometimes I’d fall and lose the fight,
Or barely survive and run in fright.
I’d race from side to side,
Until I found a place to hide.
It’s harder than I thought it’d be,
I’ll try another strategy.
I almost reached the left-hand side,
Then chopped down trees both far and wide.
One place had walls all glowing red,
With Eaters of Souls just up ahead.
So I used a flower to clear the ground,
Before bigger trouble gathered around.
Because if they grow and start to spread,
The whole place fills with fear and dread.
I’ll save my flowers while I still can,
Since only a few remain on hand.
Anyway, I think I’ll stop for today,
And take a small break from the games I play.
But next time I’ll be stronger still,
And conquer every fiery hill!
